  1. The seals looked ok and I made some new gaskets then put it back together. Then did a bench bleed to see if it is working. It works ok but eventually sticks and does not return. The cylinders looked good but looks like it was resleved with poured copper then honed to suit. Guess I have to send it away for stainless sleeves. I will pull apart the other one first and see what that looks like inside first. (Outside was heavy pitted and had some dirt nests inside)
  2. When I first seen one of these I was Abit confused with the two pistons side by side, but it makes alot of sense having the brake and clutch all in one.
  3. I pushed it off the trailer but half stayed on Sorry no pick, no matter how much I crop it it's too large to upload but there was a lot of rust left
  4. Most of the wood was too rotten so chopped most of it up.
  5. With a little adjustment the bmw B Piller worked a treat
  6. Anyway treat and paint what I can inside door
  7. Do you have a engine oil cooler? They can make a decent difference to coolant temp, especially on a turbo engine.
  8. There might be a golden trail of rust between pick up and my house
  9. Another weekend and another collection of rust
  10. There is down side to owning multiple homes, things that you want can be at the other house when you want them. So I own a panel folder but have to improvise like I used to.
  11. So on the other corner the outer skin looks good but with a skim coat of pb since the other corner seemed thin under the lead I ground it back to find lots of rust holes. Before I started I thought it would be easier to cut the lower 75mm of the skin off rather than infolding the edge to repair the inner. Maybe next time.
  12. I don't like lead. I thought I ground enough away, obviously not. But also finding more rust under the lead
  13. I will get the other body home before I decide if they are too far gone. Anyway back to the door, I cut up a e46 bmw for this patch to save on bending time
