  1. Thanks sr2 I will get a new seal kit first and see how it goes maybe even buy a new hone, but will worry about that after I have completed some more rusty work

From my research the series 3 oxford Ute is 5x5 stud pattern I am not to sure what year the rustier Ute is but came with a series 2 bonnet and is three on the tree rather than four/floor so I'm guessing it is earlier. Can someone link the discussion in to this thanks Here's some patches on my patches for content

On Saturday I looking at what I had to do for the front suspension mounts and I realized what is missing, since the shocks were already removed I didn't realize that the top shock mount is no more. On Sunday I was wasting time googling and found the fasebok ad for the car in January 21, when it was still all together and no one had chopped up it inner wings which made me more upset
  4. 2nd guard is damaged, more rusty, and missing the b Piller flange. But has a little more of the front metal left.

  7. Thanks. Brass or copper tend to be too soft and oval out which causes it not to return. So have to sleeve with stainless.

  12. Think I am going ott for this pos, the idea was a rough and ready restoration to try and motivate me into finishing the bluebird. I was not happy with the lead covering the little holes along the bottom so I cut that too. Then after cleaning it up I put the rust prevention on.
