yeah 295 hp like alo to me...
the thing is if you stick with a 2L you can pick one up for piss alll and slowly build it up yourself and i think it will go pretty damn hard if you do a decent build.
Yeah i looke dat bilsteins... at the palce iwas buying from they were wuite a bit more expensive so i got some adjustable konis... very good. ride a dream... wish i could get short enough ones for the front without to much effort
Shouldn't do shit... even if its over where the gasket seals it would haev to be a decent scratch/ gouge.. the valve quite often are ver pitted anwyyas...
Has your cam been reground? if it has it may need dialing in.. well Xflow ones do i'm not sure abotu OHC ones but i guess an adjustable cam wheel would do the trick...

i think the best way which i have seen is to paint it a base colour and stick coloured vinyl cutouts on it it looks mean... just buy some rolls of adhesive ninyl and go crazy with a knife you can always peel it off
It's just you! .... Xflows LOVE revs... even my sport revs to a good 6000rpm totally standard and i havn't even touched the engine since i got it of an old d ude whos had it for 15 years... So probably hasn't been tuned for a while
Oh wait yeah i'im wrong i thought you were putting a 1300 head onto a 1600...
But yeah if you were using a 160 head on a 1300 block you would get the bigger valves..
I'm not sure about fiestas but co uld they possibly have chambered heads? because that would not work in an Xflow as the heads are flat and most of the 1600 heads have bigger valves than all of the ones from smaller capacity engines.
What kind of alfa do you have?
My dad is into his alfas and is always telling me how great twin downdraught dellortos look and sound on those boxere engines
two 40mm DCOEs are going to be alot better than one Downdraught... and the fact that the air/fuel mixture travels in a straight line directly into the head allows better airflow...
Should be ok, pushrod will definantly know... or look on trademe i think there is an anglia with a prexflow with sideys.. diff enginge but much the same so you will be able to see the proportions.. otherwise id be keen to buy the engine or carbs
Def, should go to the place where i got my head done... he's very good and the guy he gets to do his cams are franklin camshaft services which i have been told by other sources that they are probably the best around.

Its not that easy to put a pinto in... its a bit of messing about... driveshaft.. sump.. throttle cable.. exhaust... fuel line.! not to mentoin cost od cert......
No!!!!
You have got the wrong radiator cap in i think... cos it has that spring loaded bit on it and if it isn't the right one it doesn't match up with the bit in the neck of the radiotor fitting... so when it gets a bit of pressure it just lets it out...into the over flow.... i think..
What do you reckon a 3.54 diff is worth?
What would i want to use with a mildly modified pinto and a sierra 5 speed? apparently it has a 4.4 in it but it is locked and i would like to use it on the road?... just a normal 4.4 ? does that sound ok?
