oi fuck up i put a new radiator in mine yesterday.......its all g now.... yeah the heater somehow draws heat from inside the engine block, i know this cause when refilling mine with water i had to m ake sure the heater was set on hot so that there wouldn't be an air pocket in the block near the heater...... apparently cos the fan is controlled by revs you can try revving your car a little which cools it to....... but i think i looked at your radiator escort boy and it looked pretty good.... and i don't know if you could fit a bigger one in an eskie that easily.... maybe you should try flushing your whole cooling sytem with kerosene.. thats what the dude at the wreckers said to do...

i think its an arm that bolts on to your wheel nuts and has a roller at the other end that rolls against the inside of the guard and slowly pushes it out..... not sure though have never done it but that what i think they are like.. correct me if i'm wrong

umm its not just primer grey colour its like real dark, it look real mean so i might just do the whole car in it...t he dude said it would be good for 6 months... which is sweet by then i can get it painted properly..... well... maybe if not i'll just do another coat but i reckon the whole car int hat colur would look mean i'll show you it sometime zep.....

yeha its sweet i got some etch primer and sprayed it on it was only like $13.99 and is quite a large spray, can covers heaps

nah its ok i think he spat most of it on kates house the second batch you made was all gravy thouhg i want to get this etch thing right so i can rock grey primer without it like rusting and shit,.....

umm so where can i get this etch shit in a spray can?.. just a paint shop i want to leave it primer for a while cos i can't afford to paint it yet.....so what should i do? just sand it back apply the etch then primer over the top? will that be ok for a while?

ok.... on my eskie i have removed the plastic strips down the sides of the car.... while i was at it i bogged all the holes and small dents and shit sanded it back.... parts of it to bare metal, then i got it smooth as with 1200 grit sand paper and just coated it in grey primer....... now i have been told that driving it liek this in the wet is bad...... i was meant to put some other shit called etch onto the bear metal parts which seals it, otherwise the water getsinto it and can rust the metal....... i don't mind sanding it back and doing this but is it necisary?...should i sand it back to the metal again and seal it with something?..... anyone know much about this kind of shit??.... any help would be appreciated... cheers...

for my 1980 mk2 eskie, i am looking at hotties i'm not sure what size they come in, will just get whatever i can find for cheap........ but will i be able to get it sufficiently low enough without rubbing, or shall i keep raising funds till i can afford to puff them wheel arches out, which will look supremely steeez....probably end up doing that in the end anyways........... pic is in my other post if you want to have a look.
