Van is looking great, landrover run a timer/relay. Pretty simple setup, no doubt could find cheaper, this is just the first one that comes up on search.

I saw this listing you may be interested in: 2017 Nissan Leaf https://www.trademe.co.nz/4253072131
This leaf has done 325,500km, honestly kind of impressive.

Possibly the IG- would provide the signal but it comes from engine control computer?
Maybe it needs the right controller to run a digital dash?

A couple I’ve seen walking around town.

3.5l petrol according to carjam so sounds about right. Neat sized truck, glad to see it still working.

In general, commercial vehicles are hard riding and bouncy empty. Your van is designed to be loaded so possibly the rear shocks are all good. Sounds like your on to a winner with your couch, chuck some tools and maybe a water tank or something and you should be cruising.

Finished up the injector plugs
And wired the new coil igniter
Ran the power wires through to the battery and found my missing 10mm from kaikoura in 2019, amazing!
Spent quite a lot of time deciding how to tackle the fuel pump supply. The original relay is on the battery side and I think I will tap into it instead of running wires right through BUT the fuel pump is also controlled on the negative side I would assume from the ECU, as well as a 30s timer and relay at the rear RHS. I think I can just earth out that side of the pump and I should be all good. Ran the ignition power wire into the cabin but haven't wired it into anything yet.
With all this done I have been able to power up and connect to the laptop with no smoke so far. Been going through and setting it up and have coolant temp, air temp and throttle sensor giving the right readings. Wired up the wideband controller and have enabled it but for some reason I can't assign the oxygen sensors and only one seems to be heating. Annoying.

You could also try putting some weight in the back, it may be the front bouncing but it might level out when loaded.

If you happen to go there again could you please see if it has the organiser tray on the dash and if the seats are in good nick. Cheers.

It's been coming along @gibbon. I need to replace those tyres for the new rims and get some centre caps, I got some bushes from Japan which have taken ages to get here that I need to sort. other than that the interior is still a bit gross and idk, might lower it some maybe.

18436472 injector wiring, one of those 4s is a 5 but not sure which one, you should go 1 and 6, 8 and 4, 4 and 7, 3 and 2.
Then you set it to squirt twice per cycle and you will get the most even distribution
I think I get it, injectors are wired 4 cylinders apart in the firing order?
FO 1843. 6572
1 and 6
8 and 5
4 and 7
3 and 2
Set twice per cycle which would be each crank rotation? Then it would inject on intake on both cylinders that are wired together?

Slow and steady, have run wires for air temp, coolant temp, throttle position, idle air valve and made a start on the power supply for the injectors.
Made a mistake on the first plug by not feeding the wires through first, will have to order a new one. For the injectors I have four outputs on this ECU, any thoughts on how to set this up? I'm thinking of dividing them up by firing order, so 1 and 8 on the first wire, 4 and 3 on the next and so on
Firing order 18436572

Made a start on trying to sort out the wiring and software side of things, went into settings and start mashing stuff in. Have no idea here really so any advice welcome. So on this it's going to be a semi sequential type of deal as there are only 4 injector drives, not sure if I should put in as a 4 cylinder at half the engine size, but for now it let me put in 8. Also, I am wondering if the injectors will get wired across the block (1 and 2 together) or by firing order (1 and 8 together)?
Trigger section, yeah, no idea. Left it as is for now.
Fuel, set it as semi sequential. Will use the map sensor in the ecu.
And ignition, distributor
With that in it gives a list of which wires do what.
So yeah, it's a start, I guess.
