  1. Hi everyone. Andrews right I'm hopeless on these forums but I thought id share that I have the car running now and have driven it. It is off to get tuned and dyno on Monday. rearJust need to do some finishings and that side of its done.Just waiting for the rear lips to come back and then we will tackle the tubs.
  2. Good spotting. Yes i have removed the ABS and brake booster but replaced it all with the non ABS system from a 1996 Subaru. (there is a brake booster in there still just hard to see) I have also swapped the complete steering column out of an earlier Subaru aswell. Steering rack is from the B4, all other parts are OEM except the steering universal shaft thats been lengthened due to the xmember being spaced down 75mm.
  3. Cheers. The engine and trans came out of my old Subaru that i built around 5 years ago. I kinda crashed it and the body was not worth repairing.
  4. The old engine and gearbox has been sold. When i bought the car it had a big end knock.
  5. Hey Clint man. I have put everything that was certified from my wagon into this. including engine xmember, steering universals, steering column and gearbox mounts.
  6. Hi im Chris. I work with Andrew (R100) at Monster Metals in Whangamata. Andrews been hassling me for months to become a member and make a thread on my car build. Pictured below is how the car looked like when i bought it. Basically a stock 1999 B4 twin turbo manual Legacy. My plan is to not doing anything too serious because i have limited funds, so i am going to fit a Toyota 1UZ V8 with a manualised shift kitted auto trans. A megasquirt ECU, 8x 440cc Mazda RX8 injectors, 4x Evo waste spark coils and megasquirt 4 channel ignitor module. AEM Variable electronic water/methonol injection unit. TBS 250 Billet Supercharger (GM671 style) topped with a double barrel shotgun style scoop. 17x8" Work VS-XX with custom lips (front) 17x13" Work VS-XX with custom 7" lips (rear) and 335-35-17" rubber. Tubbed 4 link rear with Ford 9" diff Thats all for now.
