  1. From max height on the hydraulics you need to lower slightly to the last click on the safety locks - so yes you can always lift it back off them to release and lower

the max height stop is an electric micro  switch that is mounted on one of the pillars - can always adjust the height of that to stop before your highest car hits the ceiling

  2. Multiple reasons

can’t be fucked with the admin of getting cert from a remote area

can barely fit in the thing anymore and too harsh bumpy for me and the missus to enjoy with our aging and decrepit bodies it’s all about comfort now

Over the whole “miata yata with juddies drop kick dumb kid culture that has grown around the cult car “ and don’t want to be associated with it in any way shape or form

Really enjoying having the shed and hoist space back

  3. Steel sleeve inside the bike rack so it’s a tighter fit on the ball

and a plate with a hole in it at the top of the sleeve so the tow ball top has something to locate to and the bolts have something to pull down against

when I worked in a bike shop the owner had a merc with euro tow ball and just bought the T7 rack that fitted and that was pretty much the difference

can prob buy just the upright not the whole rack

Oh boy that’s a beaut, it’s really not hard

Na I have driven road ranger gearbox lots and full truck and trailer just never a semi

it’s not road registered it’s all off highway in a closed site with an escort doing radio calls and everyone else has to give way to it so you can stay on the crown of the roads - no tie downs lol just load up and go

So a li-ion battery if left to go flat, do they go puffy and explode?

Imagine being a barry in the future trying to hoard old ev parts to restore them one day

Yes they do so need monitored / maintenance charging and to be stored in a flameproof storage

We have all seen the videos of exploding vapes cellphones and laptops

Once they go puffy chuck them out on the concrete driveway hook up an old unregulated car battery charger and a long extension cord stand well back and flick the switch lol

Does anyone know of a good cheap source or have hookups for stainless exhaust pipe combo bends. I'm after some 1.75" combos to build some extractors.

I've found this guy, but he's out of stock, and hasn't replied to my queries as of yet.

I still think a ESC from a RC car / drone is worth investigating haha

No idea if they'd actually be compatible with the motor, but I don't see why not, pretty sure they're just a regular brushless design.

Rc escs get their control signal as a pwm from the receiver so a link ecu should be able to drive one no problem … water pump controller $250+
    Rc 200amp esc - $60-80 …

what sorta bike are you running @Transom?

02 bmwf650 single spark .. known for lean running issues including surging/stalling -next model is twin spark

ditched 15kg of stainless steel muffler with cat and then fitted boosterplug later on

the extended wiring on booster plug also let me put the intake temp sensor in the cool air right at intake not buried in the depths of the air box

The motec bmw ecu is not flashable
