  1. I'd say for the average person looking to buy a bike to commute on to save cash that doesn't have the time nor ability to scrounge like Tori would probably end up worse off.

I commute daily on a bike but Rego is on hold because I can't be fucked with that cost. It's about $10-15 fuel every 10 days. Tyres for me are super cheap in the bike world - but that translates into normal pricing for normal boring sized car tyres too.

I see some dudes commute on sports bikes with tyres that are $500 a pair and only last 5-10,000 KM's and it's definitely gotta be an enjoyment thing there.

Cletus I want you to know that this thread is a safe space for fuel economy chat without bullying from Spencer.

Got 4.02l per 100km on way to Auckland today.

Might set an all new gas tank distance PB. Mean.

End of the month will have some $$ for exhaust bits.

In the meantime I will setup knock sensing properly.

You slamming this thing down the strip at Meremere? Would be keen to come watch the next time (whenever that may be) and take a few videos of this vehicular perfection if you're not averse to such things.

  3. The thing I linked is Webikes backend OEM part tool. It's all genuine parts straight from the factories. I've got a tonne from them. Not to be confused with all the aftermarket parts they have on the main site.@Raizer pests it quite a bit too. Just usually cheaper than going through a local dealer or CMSNL - often faster as they end up coming from the same place but the local dealers have to sit on their thumbs for a few days first before they can be bothered doing a specific order.

  4. Let’s try this again, just posted in the TS125 thread lololol. Went and had a hoon on this thing finally now the weather cleared up.

It was fun as fuck. High pegs are silly and great. If you had fucked hips or were an old man that desperately thrived on sucking the life out of other people enjoying themselves then you might not like it.

Would trade again. Thanks to the sissy bar for helping me not fall off. Square tyres are also so shit they’re great.

Thanks for coming to my TED Talk.

And it's already lowered as far as it can go. Look at the swingarm angle and how little fork travel it's got left. Tossup as to whether he can touch the ground IMO.

Touching the ground is for rich people. Don't need to touch the ground when you're moving.
