Was a well oiled uni filter today. But it was pouring where we were. Uni filters are definitely better at keeping out dust. Cheap Trademe type ones don’t hold much back.

Eh, we rode for 3-4 hours in rain this morning. The one bike with a foam pod definitely ran worse once soaked. Sure; last year was a short shower for most as we were already close to the destination but if we get a few hours of solid rain some kind of cover would be a solid idea.

Yeee. Can bring some. 17" - I recommend HD tubes which are a little more as they're twice as thick and have less chance of hamming themselves. But standard ones will technically do the job.
