  1. @MaxPower has a covered box trailer and ute as per a few pages back I believe. 4-5 seats in the ute; tray can take at least 15-16 people - not sure how many bikes/bottles of beer the trailer fits.
  2. Let’s just not break down and then fill the trailer with ice and beers. Sorted. Edit: inb4 u crashed last year huhuhu.
  3. Won't really know till a couple weeks before probably. Providing people actually get a decent 100km or so at least on their bikes beforehand to niggle out the wiggly bits (especially the 2T crew) then it should be okay with one. What date are you back from the states?
  4. Yeahhhhh full face helmets for life. After seeing a poor Thai fellows brains spread across the road in front of me I’ve barely worn a half face ever since. They quite literally leave you with half a face. Also; how crazy but this Lifan almost bolts in to the frame. Wondering if the old pushrod Honda engine mounts are totally different from the CT/ST ones.
  5. Saw those in person today. Had the rep at work. Really nice lids. Their visor changing is so quick and easy. Comfortable as too.
  6. A few minutes out of town on a lovely country road. Great for excitable pre-ride 3 minute fangs to get the blood pumping. There is room for things and stuff. We all fit last year but the numbers being higher may mean it's more of a squeeze?
  7. You’re confusing Eastcape with Whitianga. And it was 7pm thank you.
  8. Just gonna throw it out there, the Bach is not a small lawn. Had plenty of room and will be where the main socialising happens on the whole trip - being Saturday night. If you stay at the holiday park it’s actually a solid ride over a small mountain. Not long, maybe 15 minutes. But definitely not a ride for more than a couple of beers deep. Also @Shakotom don’t be a bisshhh and come sleep outside with the cool kids. Edit: Te Araroa holiday park is over the hill. According to google there is some kind of place closer by. Hicks bay motel and lodge.
  9. 7 weekends to go! Including this coming weekend. Enough time to build 7 bikes. Plenty of time.
  10. Finally got in front of a PC and paaaaaaaaid. Got 2 weeks to build this bike. (for DGR) Let see what happens.
  11. Yeah Karl is helping sort the entry form and all that jazz.
  12. Might wanna make asbestos pants.
  13. Entry form is in the works and will be incoming shortly thanks to @johnnyfive and the wicked help of @- i5oogt -. EVERY PERSON that is coming needs to fill it out. Regardless of rider or support crew. Last year John took details on the day, but it took a bit of time and this is a surefire way of crossing the i's and dotting the t's incase the unlikely happens. Chur bruddas. Better go put my bike together aye.
  14. Yeah these shinkos are awesome. Can get them in easy as. We use them on most 17” small bike rims at work now.
  15. Old mate having a fang. Super jelly of your bike @HighLUX.
  16. We’ve got @HighLUX‘s bike at work currently Tempted to tell him it won’t be ready till November 12th and take it myself. This bike is so fucking cool it’s not even funny. It’s got the new knobblies on it now. It’s LOUD with the gianelli pipe and it goes like shit off a stick. Damn. Need me a manual 50cc 2T. Safe to say old mate Lux is gonna have a hoot in November.
  17. Seized. Didn’t really make much difference as the engine couldn’t get ‘on pipe’ so to speak. I’d either use the MLM side bleed from treatland.tv or not bother next time I think.
  18. I love my phone. Used it to film near on the whole trip. Will have it out doing the same this year.
  19. Yeah I've been aiming to have mine together for DGR but may have to steal a work bike at this rate. Just stripped down again to fill in some less desirable surfaces. Will do first proper mock up next week; double check it all fits (it won't). Make any changes, then pull apart, paint, done. After moving house I've got 2 weeks before DGR. Then after DGR it's attach speakers and rack and do some fat mono's (I can't really mono) down the new neighbourhood in prep for East cape.
  20. Yeah I just got a Kmart sleeping bag because it was small and rated down to single digits. Was less than $30 I think and way smaller (roll size) than my nice one.
