I was planning on cable tying a speaker to my handle bars. Exhaust has basically made that pointless now. Not a fan of headphones and riding at all. To be honest I never ride with music; I just remember being jealous of @UTERUS playing Britney Spears last year at full volume. First world problems huh. Man I’m looking forward to riding tomorrow!

Just ordered a new set of gloves. Planning to ride tomorrow till my tank runs out and get an idea on the distance to a tank. Pining hard. This time next week I’ll be over the other side of the Motu. Hopefully near Rere falls!

Been there done that last Eastcape, those exhausts are utter balls. So ridiculously restricted by solid discs with tiny holes in the muffler that the stock exhaust probably gives better power.

Just took my weapon for a gentle speed run. 88Kph before I caught up to the car in front of me. Should be 90+ tucked and happy to sit on 80 all day on the flat. Tank fuel cap leaks a bit sadly. Will have to repaint this tank after Eastcape with a better clear. @GuyWithAviators and I still have a decent amount of fettling to go. Probably gotta work on the bikes a bit more too.

I have access to standard and heavy duty tubes through work. If anyone needs any I'm happy to sort them out but my week before Eastcape is busy; so you'll need to let me know before next tuesday/wednesday. 10/12/14/15/16/17/18/19/21" sizes available. We have the same with some customers Vespas at work, leave the tap on and the petrol evaporates leaving the 2T oil to drip down and stain the ground.

Shes got spark, the engines pre-run in from being in the Chaly, shes getting painted this weekend! I'm all go, just got no luggage space anymore. But it's a worthy sacrifice. How long is it for one pair of undies again; 4 days? Normal way, inside out, then wear them backwards for each of those. So yeah, definitely sorted.

Far out, just checked the facebook event out. Some people just can't handle not being included and/or like to complain about a FREE event. I for one am keen as fuck to check out both. Takapuna one because I haven't been since they limited new cars. But I'm stoked about that because when I did go, ol' barry's had their tickford XR8's parked up in half the parks and it was semi lame. Hampton Downs because it's closer to me and the variety will be nice. Plus the karts there are always a hoot/watching people doing their hot laps in the camaros etc is always entertaining. Stoked NZ has a few more events on the cards as time wears on. Coming from Tauranga, we're limited to the annual 'All Ford Day' (See tickford barry's), a hot rod show in a car park building which rarely has different cars or the local gang run bike shows that have some classic cars.
