Can't wait to see progress on this. 2k has got to be the bargain of the decade... you won't lose a cent on any kind of restoration.

I'm definitely not after the cheapest or the fastest, I just want the job done correctly so it doesn't bite me in the ass 10 years down the track.

Hey All, I am looking for a reliable mechanic in Wellington that isn't scared off by carburetors. I have a datsun 1600 SSS that I am looking to get tuned (orig L16, twin SU carbs). Also potentially looking for a suspension place too if you have recomendations. Any ideas? Cheers, -- ben
