  1. When you turn the car off, if you push the wiper lever up it will park the wipers straight up the windscreen to wash windscreen or service blades. Also to turn your rear wiper off push or pull your wiper lever like you are doing hi or low beam, I can’t remember which way turns off or on though. Hope there’s some useful info for you

We had this for a good couple of years 3.0l B4 5 speed auto was an awesome car to own with only servicing and tyres needed we lived rurally on a winding roads used lots of gas stuck to the road like it was on rails ( good tyres) then moved to area where roads were straight and flat and it became quite economical to run.

As I'm quite tall, with the seat back I got sick of the kids kicking the back of the seats all the time so sold it and bought a commodore.

Would definitely own an other Subaru

  4. Sounds like you've gone through everything just re check again .

I would suspect the new HT leads could be of poor quality and are breaking down when get warm.

Have had this happen on an HJ Holden 173.

Did you replace the HT lead between the coil and distributor as well?

also check low voltage connections in distributor between points condenser earth if anythings loose - not conneced up correctly

    All leads were replaced

    Will check leads tomorrow
