Would that be a panoramic view?

Is xafordgod still on the tard? Think his real name is Brendan. From Rangiora. Use to have all sorts of different coons and coon stuff. XE might be too new for him though.
Also Hinds Garage (at Hinds in South Canterbury obviously) has a lot of obscure shit that might be hard to find anywhere else. Mostly British but I've seen some coon stuff there. The place is like a cross between a hoarder's house and a museum but everything is for sale.

I have no fucking idea what that last question was about.

Saving for Hanmeet. Anyone else from down this way keen on that one?

Anyone know how to make that fermented horse milk stuff they drink in Mongolia? Guess any kind of mammal milk would do.
-
You should see concrete troughs that have been repeatedly used to store skim milk to feed pigs for many years. So much erosion of the surface / way to get maximum exposed aggregate.

I have an engine that's been seized since the late '80s. Maybe I should try the milk thing on it and see what happens.

This thing just goes to show how a car that looks pretty okay to start with can turn out to be a rusted out shit box when you start having a proper look. All credit to you for saving a sweet old car that many of us would have given up on as being too rusty. How much of the original shell do you / will you have left after all the repairs?
Also the turbo wheels really suit it.

I'd recommend going lpg dedicated as @8ball suggests. The 214 powered TK Bedford I had was dual fuel but I ran it on lpg almost all the time for the price advantage. Think I only tried it on petrol twice in the three years I had it and it ran like shit anyway.

But totally fine for what they were designed to be. Morris Minor replacement, round town tradie van.

This thing reminds me of the Mk2 Escort van my ex had in the early '90s. Same colour and similar style but a lot less fucked.

Isn't the three year wof thing for actual new cars rather than scratchbuilt cars which might be made up of old parts from many different donor vehicles?

Standard Vanguard was 5 x 4.75", same as Holden HQ-WB, Jag and small Chevy.
Cheers for that Bryan. GM diff might be the go then to keep it all matching. Probably never happen anyway but dreams are good things.

Back in the day that was my least favourite Viva but, like many things I didn't like much when they were new, the styling has grown on me to the point where I'd have one now in the right circumstances.
Alex, you need this to go with the other Vauxhalls. Might be a bit of a fun project for Hannah.

You seem to be making good progress.

The worst part is that it could happen to any one of us.

The Nissan data plates have the details of both chassis and engine number on them, not always for export models. Prince has the same.
I realise it's not Japanese but most 70s British stuff I've seen is lucky to have a number at all. For anything.
I've had a lot of BMC stuff and often found chassis/body numbers but never engine numbers.

Saw an immaculate EB Civic at the Honda dealership on Andy Bay Road yesterday. Customer car or for sale I wonder?

I've got a primitive 1/2" drive one with a pointer on the side. This sort of thing only not so flash.
I bought it thirty odd years ago to do the head on a Mini. It has done everything I've wanted it to do but I have no idea if it is accurate.

Saw an old geezer in a Model A Ford last week. Either a survivor or a very old resto. Has black plates starting with A. Saw him again yesterday. I got the impression it's his daily cos it looks well used.
Seen a lot of cool old stuff lately, no pics though cos driving.
Anyone on here got a white Trump wags with a plate that starts with DM? Saw it yesterday southbound at East Taieri along with a turquoisey mid '70s B1600 flat deck and something else of that era (possibly Italian) that I didn't recognise.
