Whoa! interesting points of note, that was definitely recoverable in the first pic, just needs muscle power and know how. looks like someone cut out the windscreen???

The sea is mega rough on cars and will absolutely tear them apart, hence the last pics, it moves them full of sand and literally tears them at the seams.

Why did no one recover it? or strip it for parts? next morning I would have been re leaving it of bull bars, wheels and all the body panels, they are worth a fortune!

The radiator is still good, the fluid is still clearly in the bottle

Time to thin the fleet a little the old Commodore is up for sale on Trade me

Wow I've got a friend that rescued one of these from a scrapyard in the UK 20 or so years ago, I've never seen another!!!

We both thought it looked like a 50s interpretation of a spacecraft.

I'm  so sad I never had the time and space to finish the Crown, it had the best body i've ever seen on one of these, it just needed to be retro fitted back to semi original. I know you will actually do this car justice and I wanted it to go to a good home.

Looking forward to watching this get done

               On extremely short notice I require a "Boy racer" type car, lets think something with big wheels and a loud exhaust, maybe like a WRX or something?

it can be totally fake, as long as it looks the part, it can just be dressed up to look sporty.

The dates are Monday 6th August 06:45 16:30 (long day I know)

8th Aug 13:00 to 1700

9th 08:30 till 10 am (nice and short)

13th 08:30 till 10am

14th 17:00 till 20:00

15th 08:00 09:30am

so you have to be available for all of the dates and with the same car, it HAS to be reliable, and legal, they will drive it, but just normally, with one fast take off.

The hours can go on a little longer, and sometimes they might swap a day due to weather, but these guys are pretty good. Your car is fully insured by the film company while its being used.

Everything is in west auckland, and I'll need some pics of the cars asap, I dont pick them, they do so if your bored and have a bit of time this could be a reasonable earner, they feed you on set, and you'll get to see your car on tv. You cant take pics of anything though sorry, you'll have to wait till it comes out on Tv
