Fixed a petrol tank on one last week at work, apparantly back in the day they used it for top dressing had a small sprayer setup with fold out arms for spraying maize could get about 4 rows at once. Flotation tyres were mean for soggy peat and motorbike is good for fitting betweeen rows.

I have some 32mm plate you can have. Its in hamilton/pirongia though and it will probably take about 150 abrasive cut off wheels before you get a normal sized piece out of it. Someone might be able to take it to the te uruwera undertaking maybe? Let me know and I can take measurements and pictures if you are interested
If @Raizer is keen I can grab this and plasma it to a rough size and get it to Richard who is going over to East cape?

Where were Sutherland and sons staying each night?
The reason I ask, is it may make sense to consolidate our room with another after a couple from ours can't make it also.
Unfortunately we were leaving it to the last minute so had nothing planned.

Some 4X4 critters use this as a really hard wearing coating, looks pretty sweet IRL.
Lightbar on the front roof rack would be sweet.

The bag controls in my truck allow you to take the piss with drawbar weight right up until the safety Override drains them and won’t pump them back up and you have to drag 200 tons of scoria home with the jockey wheel mount grinding along the road / get stuck on the dump weighbridge transition.
but the temptation to make it in one trip is very strong

I roll a pneumatic aliexpress one daily paid $25 for it and put 3M belts on it. Is identical to the ones being sold from the local autolink for $150, like identical identical. Good belts is key 3M are easy to get but have had good luck through pps.

What are people using for bluetooth earmuffs? Had these 3M ones pictured for 2.5months but got quieter and quieter until you could not hear anything in the workshop. Most of the use is for day to day workshop sounds linisher, plasma, hammering etc. Just returned this set so looking at around the $130 plue range. Happy to pay much more if they are good as I wear them everyday.

Yeah I have kept records in a book for the Vivas and Imp. so easy to do at each fill. But not got a book for the van. Just a quick tap on the phone calculator and we know how its running. Speed driven doesn't seem to make much difference to economy nor if its loaded up. It just chugs along like a good slow diesel pushing a van sized hole through the air.
Funny you say that, been dailying a 2L powered 2wd Hilux and seems to be consistently 7.5 to 8l 100km (30mpg) whether towing or just open road commuting.
