  1. I like the creativity of some people. I did my water pump on my 4A-GE, they gave me one for a FWD pump which's impeller was too tall to fit into the RWD back casting. Just make sure wherever you get it from they don't make the same mistake! Ever thought of getting the bits in from Japan? AE85/6 parts for Africa over there
  2. And alas, the KE30 is complete. Now to drive it daily until it disintegrates
  3. if it's a 16v, i've got spare sensors. I'd pin it down to a water temp sensor too.
  4. Those rear speaker wires are classic. Sorry, there's not enough room for you to sit in the middle. My speaker wires are taking that space, On another note, what bits need replacing?
  5. a 4A-GE in my KE30 certless included a hefty wink wink
  6. What's the thoughts on these? bonus that there is 5 http://page2.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/b168237600 Also considering these too http://page16.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/u77234860
  7. Yeah, did consider going to 4x114.3. Super easy since the rear end uses disc brakes so don't have to take drums off to be able to redrill it. I've got some coilovers all ready made up, however they use 5 x 114.3 as well. Since I'm using some bigger brakes i'll probably have to end up using 14" or 15" rims so they shouldn't be too hard to find. Really easy to find them on Yahoo! Japan
  8. Unfortunately both front and rear will be 5 x 114.3. Have to see what rims I can fit over the Mazda Rx7 brakes too. Might have to find some ones on yahoo japan. I saw some 14" volk meshies 5x114.3. Are easy to get over there. But have to see if I can go that size first
  9. Yup, ideally i'd like the interior completely original. Only thing that should be different is using that different speedo cluster. Found some creme door cards out at Wilfs in Danevirke but his son wants to keep them for his own. Quite hard to find them i've found And yeah, live rego with those plates for sure!!
  10. Did they come out in the KE25 deluxe too? It's from one or the ither anyway. I had a ke25 here one stage, and before taking the front and rear rolling setup, I took the cluster too
  11. So the journey begins! //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/48287-pbaines-1973-toyota-corolla-ke20/ Have got the 7A-GE sitting out in the shed slapped together. Need to do a full rebuild though etc
  12. Discussion: //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/48288-pbaines-1973-toyota-corolla-ke20/ Well time to stat a build log for the KE20 I'm about to start. Plan is to paint it a complete cherry Red as the engine bay already is, creamy white interior (trying to source original), black carpets. Specs: Black Top ITB's 16v 7A-GE Hilux Diff with a 3.9 diff head (or around'a'bouts) Mazda RX7 Front and Rear callipers Car all ready has the hilux diff in it, which is about 50mm shorter overall than standard so can put some nice dish rims on the back. Maybe some SSR meshies or Volk Rays
  13. Bliss, might go to toyota and pickup a water pump unit then. Shame about the heat outlet though, quite hard to find those by themselves
