Yeah “proper” safety gear is optional. It should be able to be claimed back through ACC if you provide a receipt or something.

Probably been said before but one rego for all bikes would be ideal. Can only ride one at a time right. 
 

It’s all personal preference at the end of the day. 
Cheaper rego compared to the bigger ones too. 

Smaller CC than your bullet tho.. be good for commuting but can’t imagine it’d be ideal for longer distance.

Anyone aware of a person/company that makes these stickers in NZ? 
Not sure of sizing etc so can’t go straight to a sign writer. 
 

Harley had this style/colour on later model sportsters but don’t have the decals listed as available to buy

MCR keep their demo ones outside and they still look ok.. 

Those Yamaha bolts or whatever the new model of them is seem pretty good. 

My mates got a full power SV650 and really seems to enjoy it. Lots of options for them too.

Changed the oil in the Harley today… quite bizarre setup they have (sportster) unplugging a hose. Obviously used to Japanese bikes. 
 

Seems like the crank position sensor is on its way out. Acts up but runs fine warm/revving once past the initial sputter. I can’t get any decent reading with the multi meter from it. 
 

Done plugs, intake rubbers and checked carb. 

$30 for 10L in the DR  get 200km out of it.

All rego tickets should come with compliance. Old mates having a bad day if he decides no compliance (gotta have a good reason not to these days).

I reckon we will. I’m thinking there seems to be more scooter on the road at the moment. 
I was in Mciver and Veitch the other day ogling at the new sportsters, kinda cool.
