Got another two hundred kms on the vespa over the weekend overall. Fuel resurve works a treat. Would like to know what I get to a reserve amount be nice. Seems my top half just disappears like. Anyone else do some riding in the weekend?

I think i found the level of trust in my vespa this trip probably needs. Just travelled 50kms on the vespa at 220am with 10% battery left on my phone in the super pitch black from @mark105s place to mine. Probably a stupid idea but a brave one. Traveling Butt fuck know where to butt fuck know where. Came across 2 trucks the hole time haha. Went well. Sweet hoons. And speedo still doesn't work.

Pretty keen to see this happen again..... Been riding the vespa around quite a bit. Speedo stopped working tonight on my way to @Beavers place. A 12 pack of 7% coruba doesn't quite fit in my side cabinet. But if a bummer.

No concern here just decussing ideas like others in here. Hadn't seen much food talk for hicks bay or gizzy. Sounds like a pretty sweet idea @BLIZZO about the pre payment to make things easier if it was to go like that I'd be super easy to slap money down if that was a goer to make things easier been such a small venue as such. Like accommodation good to chat and get groups in at the one location. Rang the motor Lodge and she was like man it's a busy weekend we don't have much rooms left only two bed ones. Told her a bunch of my Silly scooter fag mates all want to stay together. Doris sounded surprised why it was so busy.

I think they RSA would be able to cater for us if we gave them heads up and numbers. And they have all the booze

keen to go back to the rsa tbh. i recon we could put some good money into there economy. even if they wanted to just sort a catered meal for a number and just all pay a certain amount.

sat night we are at hicks bay if im correct? 2nd night the 11th which will probably be rsa dinner and catch up with the local? fri night is in gizzy and we prob heading to smash palace i think people were saying. @Raizer took us up titirangi domain last year which was rad to hoon around been his stomping ground

accommodation booked. got eight of us staying at the Travellers Inn Motel in gizzy, and five of us at hicks bay. MUCH EXCITEMENT!!!!!!!!!!!

tbh it really looked more like this, everyone standing around drinking beer while he got his practice in, went for a ride most of Sunday, went for a 40km ride with Andrew Swinton and then did a little ride out to @mark105 place and rode back in with him to test his new motorcycle. pretty good day for testing and getting some seat time thats for sure.

Thinking of mixing the good rotary two stroke oil for my vespa for the cape just so I can smell like a race car.

Yea that's what I did do, same time I replaced the tap. Had a look in the carb while fixing needle issues and what not. Cool. Looking thing. Different to a normal carb as such. Then I started to ride a bit. Done about 120kms on it. God dam photos are way to big in jpg so won't upload. May have to upload else where and post them. Dam it.

So I got my tap and replaced that. While I was there I thought better change fuel hose as it looked eh pretty average. Replaced that with a new nice rubber flex able hose. Was too long and ended up pinching it not just one time, two times. Was a bloody prick of a thing. Then the needle got stuck and fuel pissed everywhere.

Rack attached. Good old riv nuts are a life saver. Two in the bottom and welded the top nut in. Lock washer arrives tomorrow so no need for any lock tight. Lucky I'm actually riding my bike and finding these issues now. And out to do more testing this weekend. Might make my sack to carry luggage in the front this weekend. See how i get on.

Even after doing kms on your scooter things can still go wrong like Raizer on the waikato ride on his scooter. But let's hope that won't happen and we have a great trip. How many bikes able to two up?

yea housing them is perfect i was sure blizzo had a bag hanging off the back of his which came off. would/10 use to house for sure.

it only pulled the top off the side off from memory? just from hanging the bag off wasnt it? swapa crates perfect for housing as no strain on little nails
