@ghostchips can you try that camera i gave you and see if it stops recording?
Ok, i report back that it works fine if you turn off the motion sensor. Otherwise it takes bumps in the road or driving into the sun & doing a Uturn to get it to start recording again.

Can't believe they leave those on the street.

I dont know much about this topic, could I use one of those capacitors for subwoffers? I have a huge zener diode here
Build that tiny voltage supply & use the huge subwoofer cap on the output supply. It's what i've been going with something.

What's wrong with after market ignition?

Do you have tons of old cellphones or some supercap/ultracap's around? Could make a voltage stabilizer thing. I have a few shitty zener diodes but i don't like that method.

From the way the tach' drops, providing the video is in sync' with the audio', there's an electrical supply problem, possibly a short circuit. Is it possible to wire an alligator clip from the battery straight to the coil & see if it's some kind of dead short like an immobilizer?

Not if we (someone, kiwi probably) imports enough parts from unloved US spec car/wholeshell and rebuild it.

Bonus points it has asbestos brake linings still attached.

This is a classic example of a person who thinks he has hit pay dirt by importing a LHD Mazda.

This will sit here for years.
From the side it's not bad looking. Good looking if you can't see the grill. RX4 coupes were under-rated so long.. Looks like reporting the listing has got it pulled though.

Where did you get those grey overalls man? GPSC!
They're not mine, and that's not me in the picture but they're likely army surplus.
@SOHC where do i find overalls similar to those?
Someone i know said if i finish the cab' as a jailbar, or 41 pickup style, he'd consider either putting it back on it's chassis with a flathead or on a turbo ranger chassis. Neither sounds bad, i kind of like the idea of flathead + air ride myself. -

Warkworth wreckers had one of these a week ago, as them if they still have it?

If you do the things that take time but don't need expensive-per-hour- labour to do, then you might be able to strip the engine bay on your own, and put all the panels back again, you probably know that much though.
Had pro's weld my gas tank. Didn't cost much as i'd folded the metal myself. Less than an hour labour charge and $20 consumables.- 1

This would be awesome if it didn't make so much interference.
