Howdy campers
If you are planning on a visit to the Naki in the next few days please think back to sub zero Jan wedding temps and then proceed with packing every thermal item you own. Extra sleeping bags/full snow suit for bedtime a must.
Snowy summers in the THC - keeping you hardcore since way back when.
Also PM me or Bizzo for address dets should you require

And maybe the Eltham cheese factory if it's open?
Please, please, please, please. I promise, I'll be good.
Ohhh yes we certainly can - festival of lights is a must and cheese is a camping staple.

On the topic of wagoneering, vanning and general camping - we are going to be having a little 2018 Welcoming Assembly at our land over the NY period.
We will be up there from the 30th of Dec till the 2nd of Jan - feel free to swing by and stay for a few days or just a night. Might have a big bonfire on NY eve if conditions allow.
Will work in some day trips to local swimming holes and nearby beaches. We don't have ANY facilities except two portaloos so bring bottled water and all other amenities. There is a supi & liquor store and multiple takeaway options three minutes up the road and showers are available at Bizzo's mums for those who don't like to let it fester.

West is best! Technically not a Wellington wagoneering member but if you'll take a couple of jokers from the THC as tag alongs we would be oh so keen to JI for Tour d'amour!
Keen for the Monday down - hopefully miss all that Easter crazy

Sounds like we should stick with current plan at belt road. It's bloody ideal location and I'm sure we will be partying the nights away no matter what the facilities are if anyone wants free accom or makes a last minute decision to attend feel free to crash at our place. All in all whoever shows up we promise to put on a pearler weekend in the beautiful Taradise with ample amounts of scenic cycling, giggles and good vibes xxxx

Hi team
Sorry for the delay but have just got back to the land of the living and first task on the agenda was ringing Le belt Road motor camp. Sadly got some awkward news that they have booked out the communal facilities for the 21-22 for their own big staff shin dig. Pretty awkward because apparently the kitchen and toilets also not available so we wouldn't even have cooking faculties... and would have to use the scary old toilet block (the one with ghosts and spiders).
And so ... I wanted to propose three options for attendees
1) stick with belt road - live off takeaways and knit a little wollen pouch for your sack so you can survive outdoor partying in the patio area.
2) find alternative holiday park - fitzroy is also close to waterfront and town for bicycle fun
3) stay at ours (my mum and dads haha) - free accom and lots of spare rooms/beds/mattresses also wagon and tent spaces. Pool table and spa included. We can trailer bikes up to NP for day riding and also very close to the Plateau if we wanna bomb down the mountain for maximum bicycle gang kudos. (Parents are conveniently overseas at the time)
i understand peeps have already booked so if you dudes are keen for option 2 or 3 lemme know and I will arrange refunds through my cousin. Otherwise can just stick with current plan but just giving y'all some options - sorry for the run around promise not to leave the country again when there is important summit arrangements to be made :/

Kia ora from Ireland!!
just having a wee pint and catching up on Le bike summit threads. Bizzo and I will be in attendance however this is the weekend before the esteemed swapmeat event - not sure if that will be a prick for those travelling to both events back to back?? I can let the Belt Road camp know to block some rooms out too if you want - I know some family working there so they might give us some deals?! Last but not least Bizzo and I have stickers locked down and sorted for this year so that's the most important thing done missing all you cats in the land of NZ see you soon diddly dee potatoes

Ol boy blue in a sweet stencil/sticker!! Too choice. Thanks for the heads up on the hubs lads, haven't really had a proper hunt so will get on to it - hopefully get around the 12"/13" issue.
I won't be bringing him up this weekend sadly but definitely will be showing him off at the next Wagnats!- 3

Hi team,
Having a go at my first post, just haaaaaavvvvveeeee to show off the latest addition.
Bizzo and I picked this fella up from a guy in Motuoapa after playing chicken with another bidder on the Trademe – best impulse buy ever??Discussion - //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/39573-lauren-lovechilds-74-ke26/
His name is Blue….swoooon
Born in the 1974, this ol fella will be making a comeback as my daily runner. He smells like an old man should and refuses to stay in 5th gear but packs a lot of grunt and previous owners have kept him in mint condition.
The old fella who last owned Blue had him for 27 years, and in this time, added a few upgrades…
Listing impressive specs below:
• Addition of sweet sweet 13” RX3 steels
• Original blue with a 40 yo patina
• Standard 3k and four on the floor replaced with big block 5k and K50 for added motorway cruising
• OG wiper delay with a 2second to 40 second delay. PWHOARRRR MIND BLOWING ADJUSTABILITY
• And silver pinstripes
He is a dreamboat to drive. And also made it to his first oldschool meet.
Future plans include whitewalls, a new gearbox, 1x coat of plastidip to save the patina, sweet set of original fender mirrors, and a 13” set of these hubcaps if you can help a girl out…
Oh… and also needs to be lowered by heaps
