That's old 60s and 70s pontiac /Chevrolet.
As far as getting a pair of wheels....
Future proofing is probably better to go 5x114.3 and use a toyota/nissan steel wheel.
Might be a bit of outlay to change the hubs. But will save headaches further down the line
and possibly save the wart-infested ball-ache of unobtainium bearings, like we were yapping about t'other day

If you want quick and easy just replace or fix the current one.
More economical is probably hard?
good luck finding a head that isn't cracked, unless aussies got replacements made as they more popular over there.
2.6 Magna had same motor, but fwd shit needs removing and swapped for RWD.
i believe 2.6 courier motor is from same casting but head different -

Thanks Clint. Is there a limit to changing the cage? When the car is in for the 4-link work, I might ask if they have any suggestions about making it better.
I was looking for half-cage rules, but couldn't find them specifically.
is it an MSNZ cage ? if so, would pay to check with tech. office.
existing cage in my TE71 can only be modified either original builder, or with his permission..... unless they have changed that rule as well in last 2 years -

has anyone used a china 4x4 winch?
i want one for my boat trailer, it will live outside with a tarp over it, curious if they actually produce the line-pull that they state
trying to get a runva one but they are pretty hard to deal with.
if the brake is insidethe end housing, it should be fine .
if it in the cable drum, dyneema will melt.- 1

Its so toyota could save 300ish* mm of positive battery cable from one side to the other. Across 11ty billion surfs/prados probbaly ads up to a pretty good saving.
I'd imagine for the factory to jam 2 different batteries was probably less expensive that to ad the extra battery cable.
different batteries may even keep the positive terminal further away from contacting metal body parts, maybe

Jon palmer.
We use him at work. He is temuka based though. Has done a few scratch builds for us and many other jobs . What you want to do would likely be right up his alley
did he move from big shed in Redruth ?

have some here, thinking 5 x 114, but tiny 5/16th or 3/8th studs.
common on small pop-top campers, and small galv 'hobby' trailers.
bearings for the factory hubs are not nice to buy, like MkI trojan with the MkII zepher bearings

is it a street-line garage, or set-back from footpath ?
street-lines usually cannot be replaced with complete new structure, so would need to be rebuilt.
usually new/permitted structure will require 5m set-back from road boundary, unless it's a 'carport'. -

cheers mate ..the window is 1200mm wide and the door is 1495mm.
you are enlarging the lintel span, therefore structural, especially if a heavy weight roof, or if you are removing a bracing element to do so

any truth that silicone bronze wire can be used for MIG welding cast ?
need to do repairs to spare coal range before installation
