Bought a honda 125xl, just needs a front headlight and the front rim is rusted out. Been trawling trade me but no luck apart from one crowd wanting 150 of another cruddy old wheel (chromed steel)
thinking maybe mx alloy wheels and lace them to the drum brake/hub?

Apparently the swing arm bearings sometimes go on these, causing excessive movement. Could be the problem.
My citroen bx rhs one went (from memory that side goes first)
pretty obvious as it starts getting sweet neg camber and the alloys where rubbing the inner guard

but that was going at 1500rpm for a few weeks

If the advertisings to be believed these might be the go (unless you like them wearing to a smaller size which can be handy for certain jobs)
or I've seen a few places placemakers etc selling 10 or 20? Packs of Bosch one which seemed cheaper
/ling post never used any of them

How many kms has it done? I recently acquired a vq. And I have no desire whatsoever to lay a spanner on it.
235k, seems to be the early vqs that suffer
heard a few 350zs needing valve seals
the maximas suffer supposedly from the cats being too close to the engine and the bits of magic inside them flakes of gets swirled around and back into the engine and fucks the bore
also have no interest in finding out which one it is so just feed it the good (cheapest) oil and will continue to drive till it dies

A farmer had one set up with weed sprayer on the back when I worked in raglan 4 or so years back
not 100% if its that exact model but you could phone and ask
the family also owned and run te Mata quarry so maybe try them?
