  1. Wanted to fix this up a bit before selling it but can't find the parts I need. She's for sale as is. Leaking windscreen and noisy lifters seem to be the only problems. Will get some photos of the car and all extras I have for it and put it up for sale soon.
  2. So far, this is the only change I've made to the car Wheels will be next, one day.
  3. I believe you mean 'revealed'. Also, your signature should say 'Formerly' lol. Fuck I hope he comes, I love carbs!
  4. Still got the free fries? Legend! See you there, I'll probably bring the newschool ride this time though.
  5. Car is running like a pack of arseholes. Lifters get incredibly noisy when it's hot, car loses power, idles funny. Bought a new car (JZX90) to drive while I try fix this and lower the car. Then I will be selling it. I'm gonna miss her, but my next old Toyota will not be NZDM.
  6. Mark II? Who knows. Change the R to a K and it makes a bit more sense. Paint isn't great on the right rear door due to what looks like a fight with a low concrete wall or something by a previous owner. Oh well, car was cheap.
  7. Haha! Every time I see one of those from a distance I get excited thinking it's an X90. All decals will be coming off, don't worry.
  8. Spent some time cleaning today And checking out suspension Front Rear Black springs, no idea if they're aftermarket or cut/compressed standard ones.
  9. I will do this tomorrow, no idea what brand though
  10. Nice and solid up front too, a bit squishy at the back though.
  11. Just springs, bought it at that height!
  12. Depends if I've sold my GX71 by then, but definitely registering interest!
  13. Yeah I might hold on to the current wheels, they seem to be genuine BBS wheels. Too bad they don't have centre caps! I am unsure currently, but possibly big VIP style wheels. I find it way easier to find old small wheels I like than new big wheels. @nothingsfree's JZX90 looks pretty nice on his .com racing wheels though. That's a bit of inspiration.
  14. Been spending money First course of action = sort a Y adapter so I can run the exhaust I bought in Hamilton when I picked the car up. Fujitsubo rear muffler! Then wheels, and probably lower more. Oh, and gotta take those terrible decals off.
  15. http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Mini-GSM-GPRS-GPS-Network-Auto-Vehicle-Motorcycle-Bike-Monitor-Tracker/913779520.html At that price, you can't go wrong. I'll possibly be getting one this week, can let you know if it's any good? I love this car, best 81 in NZ by far.
  16. I like that you made the times bold this time. I'll see you there.
  17. Only problem with this is that if a police officer still decides it's too loud, you have to go through what I'm going through.
  18. Nah I was told this at VTNZ, only the LVV certifier can remove the sticker without me getting a $600 fine. Yeah they're okay with them, obviously don't know they're 8s (not stamped on the wheels I don't think)
  19. $100 WOF yes And have to get LVV exhaust noise test, apparently another $200 and they put a plate on the exhaust to say it's certified for volume. Even need to do this if I put standard exhaust back on before green sticker will be removed. But, on the upside the VTNZ I took the car to said the wheels and tyres are fine! Also, cop that pulled me up was in Te Kuiti
