  1. Still unsure if I’ll put my car in or just go for a looksee.
  2. No Highlands this Sunday. It’s been cancelled. Cromwell Car Show is on this Saturday and the Cromwell Cruise is on Friday night.
  3. @Mazda Dave you putting your car in or just going for a nosey?
  4. So what should we do in March? Overnight camping shindig in the Catlins? Surfing, jet skiing and oil leaking?
  5. Also the Cromwell Classic Car Show is on Saturday the 20th January. Whos keen?
  6. Strophe, what if blue blazers are you on about cobber, that’s a fair few raw prawns.
  7. It might be because Mad Mike is doing the hot laps that weekend. Or it might just be because they want to make it too expensive for all the people from Gore up for the weekend. Or they could have just put the price up because.
  8. @kyteler just went to register for this but they have put the price up to $49 for that weekend. So fuck that basically.
  9. Pretty sure the Cromwell Car Show is on the Saturday. So there could be heaps of ‘older’ cars on the track for me to hold up. Keen.
  10. Keen for another hoon though. Giggled so much last time around.
  11. What date is that? I think it is the Sunday after the Cromwell Car Show so would be a good idea to pre-register. Should be a good one to do as there’s might be heaps of bogan mobiles on the track!
  12. Just got to do 4 laps (riding shotgun) in this bad boy around Highlands. Holly Molly it was fast. Bit of a contrast from the little red Mazda from yesterday hahahaha.
  13. Question: Do you have to have window washers for a cert. I know if they are fitted to a car they have to work for a WOF. Which would lead me to believe that if a car didn’t have any to start with then it wouldn’t need them for a WOF/cert. BUT what if a car came from factory with window washers but you removed all trace of it for the cert. Would that work? A friend wants to finish his 808 Wagon and one of the sticking points is he has the washer bottle and pump but can’t find the squirty bits anywhere. So if he just removed the washer bottle would he still be able to get it certed? Im sure we have talked about this before but just want to double check.
  14. Yep. Should be pretty lol hooning around the track in the 808 haha.
  15. Thank you for registering for Track Laps at Highlands. Please bring $35 to pay on the day. You are welcome to bring extra guests, their breakfast will be $15 per person. Your car will need to have a current warrant of fitness and you may be asked to present your drivers license. Reception and the Cafe will be open from 9.30am, with Track Laps departing at 10.00am sharp. Breakfast will be served after the track laps. Just a heads up! This month is going to be a XMAS BREAKFAST BURGER FOR BREAKFAST - NOT the usual three options. If you are taking kids out on the track - no problem! You will be in the family laps, which will be the last group of the morning, with a top speed of 100km.As you have pre registered you have also gone in the draw to win a Super Car Fast Dash in our Highlands McLaren. Get a friend to sign up and get another entry in the draw. We look forward to welcoming you to Highlands. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us on 03 445 4052. CheersHighlands.
  16. @Mazda Dave I reckon we get there for 9:30, maybe a smidge earlier. Tony Quinn is going to be there tomorrow too. Hopefully that means extra laps!
  17. Registration starts at 9:30 and laps begin at 10am sharp. Cromwell markets and beer tasting is open to 1pm. Then hoon to The Banny for afternoon sharns? Weather is ok for the morning and might have a shower around lunchtime. Expected rainfall is 0.2mm so yeah, Cromwell rain amounts.
  18. Yeah, but the red Mazda will be awesome around the track....
  19. If you pre-register you go in the draw to win a fast lap in a McLaren.
