this already sounds like its coming together1 im definately keen on a wainui meet for two reasons, reason A. coast road is a great road to drive and reason B. i live about 5 mins away from the begining of coast road haha

cheers for the info guys, all taken on board, the $150-$200 budget was for the carbs alone, entire build is a slow one as im "doing it once and doing it right"

and my factory 4k can pull a car load with a motor in the boot over wainui hill no problemos so would imagine anyone could make it

how far is wainuiomata for most to drive too? the coast road would make for epic convoy status if everyone met at beginning at the meet time then convoyed to the end for a barbeque on what we call a beach? suggestion for next month perhaps?

any suggestions as to who to build the manifold? im useless at that sorta thing, ive got a mate who will swap me my standard carb and my spare mild lumpy cam for his current twin carb set up? would twins work well in this setup? also anything else that could be done to anything to get a bit of extra go?

is there a certain limit as to how many meets you have to attend before elligibility to attend this is granted?? very keen to attend as it sounds like a day well spent

hey all, after help on this, i currently have a 4k in my garage that im planning to throw in my ke70 wagon, it has the following already done bored/honed with what appears to be oversized flat top pistons 3/4 race cam 3k head twin row timing chain im wanting input as to what would be the best replacement single carb for what i have, and also what other things i can do to it to get a bit more out of it?

yep that'd be the one, ex d1nz ae86, was saying that meatsack turned up harrassing him to swap for about 6 different cars before he just stole it. yeah always keep your shit locked up, more security the better ae, can definately understand the wanting to keep the sheds shut to strangers

thats ratshit, from what ive heard that was the same fuckwit responsible for my mates ae86 going missing, people like that need a bullet in the head
