Cheers man!yea I've seen the episodes, that pretty much exactly how I'm planing to do the turbo install. I'm planing on running around 8-10psi should be good and alot more fun to drive im soon going to start doing track/drift days and want to get a rollbar for rollover Protection/reassurance. Has anyone out there made there own before? my dads a certified welder so easily capable of helping me out. Any help appreciated Heres a example of what im thinking of.

Abit has happened since my last post. My mate didnt end up wanting to sell his rims. So i ended up ordering a set of 175/50r13s from some place down the line because no one in whangarei seemed to have them, or could get them. Shes pretty much done now, went for a wof on friday with my old tyres because my new ones hadnt arrived,only failed for one tire being low on tread which i was expecting so quick drive out to hulses to chuck his spare set of turbos on. slapped the sticker on then straight to get a rego haha.. these are numbers on the right handside 70HM6015AA. T5 1.6

buying some new rims of my mates hillman next week. 13x7 0offset steelies. look exactly the same as modgies just not chromed. with 175/50r13 tyres. Once i get them il finally be able to lower as the massive tyres i have on atm would rub too much! want to go just over 3" all round. should be like this but tiny bit lower. this has same size rims and tyres so is a good indication.

it was clearly stated in my trademe auction that i was working on the car and the price would change accordingly to the work. i have withdraws it since then.

Havent really had a proper post in pretty much a year haha cars still unpainted pic of as is to this day Getting new rims and tyres in a week or two some hopefully should give me some motivation to finish it haha

hi guys havent been on here in so long! still have the car. its sitting on axle stands in my garage. abit of work has been done to it since my last post. full interior has been recovered in black vinyl. including door cards. All new black carpet. painted the engine bay. braided brakelines allround. 3.5 ratio diff head got the specs of the engine off the previous owner. turns out the engine is out of and ex race car sponsered by cowleys hire. explaining the blue and yellow colour scheme. engine specs race cam ported and polished head 60 over thou lightened flywheel heavy duty clutch balanced double valve springs. also have a set of coilovers on the way and have a friend who will reset my leaves for a box!

Hey guys thanks for the feedback!! Have had this project about a year and haven't even touched the engine, so i think its about time to start thinking about that.. talking budget wise defiantly nothing special as still at school.. with my part time job something around $80 week. looking foe a better job My mate is selling a red top 4age for $350 without box or anything, i could be interested in buying that but dont really have an idea of what else i need apart from box and a stronger diff the car atm has a 2inch exhaust with two coby mufflers. apparently the cam isnt standard thats what my mechanic told me but i really have no idea. The car is defiantly gonna be my daily. pretty much drive to school and back. and skid it in the wet but dont really like putting to much strain on my diff and engine.
