Turned out to be a failed slave cylinder, all fixed now and going strong again, no lasting effects on second gear either

I a good n bad Good: first decent drive out of town to Whangarei went well had fun at Dutch Day up there Bad: 2 kms from home in Ponsonby she stops going into gears and when I do get her into 1st she stalls. Poobums The okay: Mini wise in law says its probably the clutch fluid needs bleeding. The urgh ahh hmm: grinded second a little in a panic after car in front slowed fast and I couldn't change down But yes she is very tidy

Hmm, looking for a roof rack so we can kart bikes around, maybe some black stripes and some spotlights But I dunno she is so tidy and already pretty sweet so I'll have to see what I'll do

Hey all, Haven't really posted, last time I did I had a '74 D Super. But now I have an '88 Mini Mayfair. Had her for about 3 weeks now and she's been really good, bar the bit where fouled plugs and dirty air filter choked her up a bit. All sorted now and good to go again. She has 13" Mini Lites with GAZ shocks 1275 A+ engine Repainted about 2-3 years ago holding up well She's in pretty sweet shape really.
