Popular Post WLDRX2
After years of steeling this from my father, a deal has been struck, and now the family vk is mine. It is a 1985 Holden HDT VK SS, has been in my family since 1992 and was the family car for many years before it got pushed to the back of the shed in about 1996 and left to sit, until about 2008 when I pulled it back out from the darkness. The rego had expired as dad didn't know he had to redo it every year, so after a revin, and replacing a few fuel related parts (don't leave your car full of gas for 12 years) and other bits and pieces that didn't like sitting for so long, it was all go again.
WLDRX2
Right, so 6 months of owning this I've used it all of 3 times, mainly because I wasn't 100% confident with the cooling system. Had put a new thermostat and water pump, and heater valve, but it never really felt right, water would go rust brown and would never bleed right . So, aint no body got time for that, and today I started pulling another perfectly good car apart . Now it's birthday time. Radiator will go off on Monday to Canterbury radiators for a flush or re-core, depending on what they find. And while it's apart, new hoses, filters and belts all around. Anyone got the hook ups at Blackwell Holden ?

WLDRX2
God damn holden. Cooling sorted, now brake master cylinder and power steering leaking. Why can't you be reliable as mazda rotary ? Don't you know, all I want to do is listen to you idle at red lights and do sly skids at green ones.
