RallyRolla
Discussion thread added at the top of the thread ________________________________________________ FFFF**** this shit! myc back is all destroyed, my neck is in massive pain, iv beeen laying under the Rolla yesterday and today after school, trying to figure out the freaking exhaust leaks, trying diffrent bolts and shit... first problem--> the car will not fill the lift.. so i had to improvise problem number two, the gearbox fell down... soo therefore Warning the weldign is crappy as i have to lay flat on my belly and then try to raise my head and hands to weld... its freaking impossible and exhausting! then i had a leak at the manifold to pipes, found out i was missing a bolt and missing the gasket then i managed to put the gasket the wrong way arround, im freaking hating that little 3k! been working on toyota M motors, and R motors, they are sooo much better to work on! why is the starter on the same side as the exhaust, Carb, and regulator?!??! you need a lift to change the starter without removing the manifolds... grr sooo then I'll drop by the Toyota dealership tomorow, and ill try to source a bolt that does fit
RallyRolla
I cant stand my rims anymore, but im out of money, its not free to get a licence and its not free to get this car registerd ... sooo i cant use any more money... anyways, got my new exhaust gasket, going to change that soon... and i looked at some pics of some other 13" teta rims, but this time.. polished! could not understand how they did get their plastic center covers polished but when i found mine i saw how.. a chip in in paitn revealed it all, they are plastic but have a aluminium plating over the front! sanded it down a bit, seems like someone painted i them with a crome spray then with a gray spray sooo im going to regret saying this but i am going to polish up my rims... going to take a loong time..

RallyRolla
Keep in mind im no welder... i'v had a 10 min guid by graddad but nothing more... + been rust welding all this Freaking car and build myself a "gocart" but i did not learn so much started welding them upmust be free flowing when you can see out where the valve sits perfectsome small adjustments and i got them like 3-4cm further back moooar spaceroom here aswellas all of you know, if you cut a pipe at an angle it looks like an egg afterwards... so my pipes did not fit my holes...you can see the edge there.. a huge air block..all 4 had these..welded a bit inside there then grinded it back downa bit more cleaning up and they are perfect!lets just hope this is air proof... i just could not fit the weldder in between them so i had to do it this getto way..
