Mini.Mad Posted July 21, 2013 Share Posted July 21, 2013 Here's one of the latest ones - my parents picked this one up after being contacted by a local paintshop that my Dad's work uses. 2 original owner, 94000km original km, 100% original with all paperwork too. Has been shed stored with a cover on it at a farm for the last 12 years, except for 6 months where the car was left uncovered and was covered in bird crap (previous owner lives in Canada and was very upset when she came back to find it in this state). Was an absolute bargain too! Cut and polished just after getting it WOFed Seeing as it is so original, we decided the only way we could tidy it up was to restore it to look like brand new again. Unfortunately the bird crap stuffed the paint in places, so it's currently in at Newton and Sykes for a respray. Car is back from the paint shop and reassembled - big thumbs up to the guys at Newton and Sykes, the car looks incredible! Here are a few more photos... Under the bonnet is yet to be tidied up - contacted New Zealand Classic Car magazine today, and they're interested in doing a feature once that's done.
