michael0008
hey guys recently decide to upgrade my brakes to twin pot eunos 800 ones on my v6 laser to get it to work i had to drill out the knuckle holes for a 14mm bolt got 3mm machined off the ears on the hub that the bracket bolt onto so the rotor is centre and 1.2mm off the bracket and get the ae111 275x25mm rotors lathed down to 260mm brand new bendix 1326 with the inner edge of the pad grinded 3 or so mm so the pad doesn't over lap in the centre of the rotor but after doing that i get this noise under brakes its really annoying me as i wanted it done for road and track tomorrow heres a video to get a idea sorry about the crap camera work was done on my phone "seems" to be coming from the left side the noise maybe warped rotor? sholdowa
I'd say something's catching... would expect rub marks somewhere. Wheel bearings?
michael0008
found few marks inside the caliper rotor was rubbing on it ,gave it a grind doesn't do it under braking now, instead with speed will have another grind and see if it fixes it . wheel bearings are brand new
