kkatl Posted June 15, 2012 Share Posted June 15, 2012 Hi guys Just need a bit of info about a project I'm gona undertake I've got a mk2 2 door escort that needs some panel work and rust work done on it,I'm picking itl need plate welding. I'm planning on putting an sr20 det in it. What I need a know is what I needa modify/fabricate to fit the the motor and gearbox? Il be doing all this at a workshop I work at and my boss is a certified welder so he can sign off all my welding. Wot do I need to watch out for and do to pass the cert and how much would it cost for the cert and a revin? And can I use the escort diff? Think theres a thread on here somewhere if ya search that covers re-vin and cert. Escort diff wont hold upto a sr20 very long, so would be looking for something a bit stronga. good luck.
