Brock-Lee
So I took this car to nats. Its not actually mine haha. The car belongs to my flatmate and he let me borrow it for a week, slam it, add wheels, lip guards and roll 1200 odd kays and give it back standard. Hah, what a gc. But I do have one, it just needs rust work(that I will get done at somestage haha) so I pulled the suspension out of mine and did this: All the coilover gear is what I was going to use for the 1200 but I have since started building something else. It was amazingly easy how everything came together tbh. Flipped one rear leaf, added one leaf from Chalky B, whose parts are still taking up space at Bizzo's place and with the 2" blocks already in the brown one it went together slammed and still drove sweet as fuck ish. This was at 9pm wednesday. Thursday = Maiden voyage to nats. next job is to fix mine and swap the gears over with a few mods in the rear for more clearance. Brock-Lee
I got pulled over about 10 mins after this photo was taken, cop checked wof/reg/licence and had a quick look at the car before wishing me a good day. Wheel tyre specs: Front - 14x7 w/ 165/55 Rear - 14x8 w/ 175/50 Rear is fucking perfect but the front needs a 25mm spacer/widened out to 8"

oldnrusty
Did a swap with my Golf and some cash for these on tuesday, Pink stickers gone, wheels and the suspension back to factory/mild slam, Ripped into a few little jobs first being $6 dent sucker Got the bulk of it out, might be able to push the rest from the inside Polished the wheel trim then sump has been sitting on the cross member for some time, bit hard to see made some spacers with the help on the work fork lift lifted the motor all bolted in and nice amount of clearance divers SO much nicer now, im going to have to revise this setup, the spacers are alittle to thick and isnt giving me enough meat for the nut to grab, not ideal when its for the motor haha if i just run 2mm thick steel it should be fine and still give me clearance Hay-hole out //oldschool.co.nz/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=34865
