camo_78
blame Dave(Horse25) for this thread, lol discuss- viewtopic.php?f=18&t=27376 anywho, couple of years ago i swapped my original cortina(now parts for 83 cortina i have) for this van from a mate.came with a 1300 we had installed at my house(now sold in Daves old satin black van),4 speed,20 dollar bunnings carpet(surprisingly nice),ghia wood grain modded to fit, half metal half bog flares(original inner lips folded out ) on 3 guards, and a sieve spec big bore(full of holes),shortened shocks and compressies in front(serious binding issues),and blocks in back(now in Daves sedan) plans are: 2 litre(mildly worked) 4 speed(unless i find cheap sierra 5 speed) new springs in front(compressies ride like arse) reset leaves(or 4 link conversion ala d.p.n.s' mk1 van) full chrome mk2 front bumper full rear bumper(cheap mk2 cut down n rechromed) boltons smoothed in(to hide horrendous original flares and dont want bubble arches) front lip(custom made) remove side windows in rear single piece rear door smoothed and deloomed engine bay jaguar racing green or dark metallic red paint 15x8s all round(borbet type A's or minilite style) new school front seats(wrx or similar) tan leather interior (keeping wood grain ghia dash) tan carpet throughout of course plans change so dont quote me on this and now for pix when we fitted 1300,yes it has boat trailer rims(aka modgies) Nick spraycanned it black to tidy it up(boat rims again) when i got it 1 week after i got it.yes,i painted gauge surround white, was years before i got van and it needed gauges exterior 1 week just before xmas 09(this bonnet is now on Daves rough as guts sedan, sedan is in carport behind van) 6 january 2010 sacked bum(flipped center leaf, also fitted sedan diff at same time) start of rebuilding it properly(approx feb 2010) messy bay shoved out in the backyard july 2010(had no springs in front) smoothing flares in(2011,crappy cell pic) please excuse some of the pics, forgot they were blurry.Seeing how fast dave has cracked into my old sedan im seriously contemplating cracking back into this, last thing i really did was the flares in january this year
