Horse25
Discuss! So i bought this off camo_78 for nice as cheap for parts/panels for another car, scrapped that other car so decided to do this up. just going to throw it all together and take it for a warrent< plan to spend as little as possible on this car! any suggestion on what i should do with the body work is welcome, at this stage im just going to sand back the bog, maybe expose some bare metal and see what happens To the car.. dragged it in the garage tonight changed the front end over to a complete one also changed the front guard, doesnt line up that well as the drivers door as it isn't original, hope to change it back
Horse25
Did a bit more today, mounted engine, dropped brake booster and installed accelerator linkage for 40's plenty of room for ram tubes!
Horse25
have been making a bit more progress on this, front is nearly done, just having trouble getting the motor running. today i picked up my widened steels, my sport is at the ride height i want to achieve at the rear, so i tried them out. Dont think it will rub as i still have plenty of clearance inside the guard, just only 10-5mm at the front. what colour should i get them powder coated? i was thinking a grey ie gun metal grey? Horse25
found a new hack on trademe that was cheap and more complete than the current one and cheaper! has no rust, but the repairs are very obvious hahaha but they are not bog jobs which is good! just needs a few things tidying up and ill take it for a wof Should look good on my widened steels! the beast the was owned by a local then given to the current owner who parked it in a shed back in 07 boot has a new paint job! sweet interior with added security with the extra key ahah some sweet rust repairs should be a sweet hack around down, was dirt cheap too, cant even get a rolling shell for that!
