Plans are: fender mirrors, front lip, lower, 15 by 8 -22 on the front, with some sort of flares. 15 by 10 -44 on the rear, black 4wd steels. Im going to tidy up the deck with actual decking. Maybe lower the deck and narrow it slightly so its fits flush with the cab. Finding it hard to find flares as its got a rectangular wheel arch. Any ideas? AndyGal Posted December 12, 2010 Author Share Posted December 12, 2010 Sanded the deck sides, put some marine varnish on, looks ok but tidys it up slightly for now. Also got a sweet hay bale for redneck pine! Although it has now been destroyed and was found all over cars in our street. Got one of my front wheels, the last one they had in stock so waiting on the other front and two rears. This is an 8j. Fender mirrors I scored also. AndyGal Posted January 23, 2011 Author Share Posted January 23, 2011 Got some tyres on the rears 225 50 15s and a 185 55 15 on the front. The backs good but I think the profile on the front may be a little small especially when compared to the rear. The tyre was an old one though almost bald. I think a new 185 60 15 may look better, slightly more profile. I need a 185 as its got the perfect stretch to keep the tread in the guard. What do you predators think? Also put a rowdy exhaust in with a side pipe but its a bit too rowdy 118db on the limiter. 107db with the wof style test so going back to standard muffler so im not a bender. The u bolt ends were exactly 100mm fom the road. 1 mm lower and I would have been stickered.
