fuel Posted October 1, 2010 Share Posted October 1, 2010 yeah I bought this thing for no particular reason at all, still don't really know what to do with it - either fix/tidy it up and repower with a B230 ET 2.3 turbo engine or just sell it off as it is now. 'tis a '76 GL model so sports the B21 2.1L OHC fuel injected engine, 4 speed manual gearbox (no overdrive sadly) which doesn't like shifting into 2nd gear, four wheel discs all round with four pot calipers up front & two pot on the rear etc. Some quick snaps It was first registered in NZ in 1978 having travelled 20,000kms by then, so it's been registered in some other country before as indicated by the NZ plates simply being stuck over the plates of the original country. Where that origin country is anyones guess, the gauge cluster is still in km/h if that means anything (so probably not the UK).
