LingLing
So some of you might know I'm doing my rear brake shoes myself, I watched some videos and have the workshop manual with me. so I'm very confident. Considering this is just one off job, it make sense to just borrow some of the tools I need. Any of you have the Brake shoes adjusting tool ? http://www.vektools.com.au/toledo-brake ... -7338.html and the Retain spring remove/install tool? http://www.vektools.com.au/powerbuilt-u ... -6051.html If not, who's selling the cheap brands? Thank you all in advance!
Spencer
Hmm, Ive done a zillion drum brake rears with little more than a socket/spanner set and some screw drivers. Without clicking the links you have provided, what kind of car are you working on?
mutiny
yeah a screwdriver and a pair of pliers will do those jobs just fine
bubblegoose
use flat head screwdriver to adjust normal set of pliers to push and twist the spring
