Alistair
Right before I get into details, I must say a big thanks to Phil/Blue Smoke RMVT for not only picking it up from Rotovegas for me, but moreso allowing me to buy it, mega GC! Also Ed for giving me a lift to the tron to pick the beast up, such a lush cruise back (after I had filled it with $150 of 98!) 90l tank ftlols! The car itself is an 86' E type Century so it is pre the 87' facelift, which means it gets the all important front bench seat and column change auto. The interior is in very good condition for the year, some minor marks on bits of trim but all in all very tidy. More awesome is the fact that all the gizzmos in the car appear to work! Paint wise it's again tidy for its year, some bumps and scrapes and more swirls than a flushing toilet but I think most of them will come out with a light cut and polish. On with the pictures, will try and explain as I go, its only got a little wax on it so it looked a little cleaner, will give it a proper once over next weekend. Front air control instrument panel. Rear climate control and "Trash Box" lol The rear passenger's controls including main window, quarter window, heated seat control and seat movement. You'll also see that all four doors include a cigarette lighter for each person. Roof controls to adjust the seats and a mirror to put your lipstick/wig on. Rear passenger's massage settings and lights. Massage intensity can be changed also. The rear air vents which also conceals.... A cool box! The rear audio controls including tape deck. Also a sweet clipboard and cupholder. There is a microphone control that I haven't attempted to suss out yet but hopes for karaoke are high. For maximum lounging the left front seat middle folds down for the rear passenger to recline. The beast. 5V Toyota V8 awesomeness. That's it for now. Plans in the immediate future are to give the paint a good polish and wax as it should come up even nicer than it is now. As you can see it's missing a hubcap so I have organized a set from wapan to complete the set and have a couple for spares. Might send them to Onehunga chrome platers or whatever their name is as a couple of them are pretty rank and it would brighten things up if they were re-chromed. It could do with a bit more low and the exhaust opening up, as with a minor exhaust leak at the moment, you can hear the potential for awesome a more free flow exhaust would have. But these two things are a little further down the track while the bank account recovers. Lots of cruising in the interim is the main plan! Even with the average weather we're having I have been out driving it a bit and love it. Lots of looks and comments all round. AAA+++ Would trade again Phil!
Alistair
This is how you park a Century in a regular sized garage.... First you park right up against the wall with a towel because the old boy was worried about his precious gib. Then you have about an inch to play with behind the car. Oh and you have to remove the rear bumper Least its stored away, didn't get a chance to cut and polish the car this week but did a test patch which was very promising...

Alistair
Sorry dicks, nothing terribly exciting to report except I gave the paint and chrome a bit of a clean up this weekend. Looks choice as in this sunny weather we're having. On a progress note, I have organized two replacement hubcaps via Ewan that should hopefully be on their way some time next week all going to plan! Also it got lonely in the garage up north so I bought it to Auckland again Summer cruising is fucking sweet tbh, loved this weekend muchly
Alistair
Another photo of it "just sitting there" since Alex/H8V12S loves them so much. Century now features in 100% more left rear hubcap! I got a super tidy one too that I need to swap the centre over for one of my non cracked ones. Complete century again!
