73 Rover P6B V8

Hi guys, new member here. Picked up a 73 P6 3500 a month or two ago. Evidently it's rather white, has red leather and a slush box, which to me is okay.

She's done 89,000 miles and I have a wee bit of service history to boot. New Zealand assembled in early 73 [Nelson] and nobody knows what happened until it was registered in 78, odd, probably sent to Australia. It has a 10.5:1 motor with all emissions crap ripped off, nice lack of mufflers and a holley 390 4bbl sitting on a scungy modified factory manifold.

Plans are, either a 3.9 with my manifolds, carb and a petronix ignition, or, freshen up the 3.5 and leave it as it is. Obviously re upholster the drivers seat and a new carpet kit, will also replace the door seals/window seals.

I have taken a fair amount of rust from the doors, had some sweet holes going on.

As you can see it's rather tasty on the outside.

Back seat is too small for the usual business.

It has a boat tiller.

So once this ones tidied up it may go into daily use. Then I shall seek my next project, wouldn't mind a V8 Morrie? Who knows.

Thanks for looking.

Hey mate your pictures aren't working - you're linking them from Facebook and you probably have your profile set to private - you'll need to either make your profile public or re-host the images somewhere like photobucket or imageshack.
