kdotlowe
Discussion: http://www.oldschool.co.nz/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=20394 Thought I should post something up rather than just lurking haha... This is my little project. Had the car since the beginning of the year. Started its life in Christchurch as a 1300XL. Since then previous owners have converted it to GT spec with quarter bumpers, 6 dial dash and a 1600 engine. Interior is mint, engine runs well, body isn't perfect but will do for now! Updates may be slow as I'm a broke as a joke student and this is all a learning process for me... Pics of car when I got it: Needs slamage asap! kdotlowe
Picked a new 'Momo Super Indy' steering wheel up off trademe. Can't go wrong for $100. Had to get a spacer made for the boss kit as none I could find would allow the wheel to clear the top of the dash.

kdotlowe
Picked up a new engine last night, 1600 X-Flow 711m block. Came all disassembled, bagged and tagged for $250 - stoked! Came with a few pleasant surprises. Duplex Timing Chain: Ignitor electronic ignition: Started disassembling the head Carbon caked valves I think I will use this head rather than my other one for the rebuild. Next on the list is a new cam and valve springs. Then she'll be off to get the head work done.
