Corndog
Ive just put a sport dash into my escort running a 2L pinto, i was running an aftermarket gauge before but i want to use the factory one now. I have tried the sender from the 1300, when i turn the ignition on it goes to cold, i ran it up until the thermostat opened and the temp gauge doesn't move. I know the gauge is working fine. The sender i tried could be faulty. Does any one know if i need the sender from a sport or are they all the same?
CaMpylobacter
probably the same knowing most vehicles. to check the wiring jsut short the wire against the block. it should go off the scale at the hot end. if so, slip down to your local repco or similar and buy a new sender, will be like $15 or somehting. thminiman
i'd beg to differ, british people are retarded, i had to try 3 senders on mini once when it was giving strife and i know it was running at right temp
CaMpylobacter
you probably had three weird sensors lol. this guy has no signal so his sensor is completely toast i would think sister had similar problems with secondhand sensors we had lying around so jsut got a new bastard.
