DriveBy Posted November 16, 2008 Share Posted November 16, 2008 I decided to buy a diesel merc. Wanted some chrome and ability to run on Vege oil in the future. Picked this up - a 74 W115 220d which had approx 48 horsepower when new. It also weighs near 2 tonne so I'm not going to be winning any races in it. Plans are to get it closer to the ground I think with W107 springs but not sure if this will work. It'll be fun trying. It's in reasonable nick, no carpets inside, bit of a hole in the top of the rear seat, fan doesn't go etc.. and I know nothing about diesels so it's going to be a learning curve. Also waiting on some glow plugs at the moment so it also isn't running. Pics - My semi old-school daily - 83 Starion, LSD, intercooler etc...
