eskynut
Does anyone know how the fuel sender from a Datsun 120Y should be wired up? The tank in my rally car is out of one and I'm trying to hook up a fuel gauge. There is only one terminal on the top of the sender unit ( I take it is supposed to be a power source? ) but there is nothing else on the sender to hook up ie earth etc. Has anyone got a datto that they can have a nosey at and let me know how it's wired up? Cheers.
Brock-Lee
My 1200 ute just has that one wire going to the top of the tank as well. just plug it in and try it, the tanks arent hard to take in and out
eskynut
Yeah cheers. Mine is a pain to get out. It's been put in my KE25 in the boot and the sender in hard up against the parcel tray. To get the tank out will be a pain. I can just get at the sender though. Was just wondering how it earths. Does it earth through the tank itself? I found this site has a bit of info on dattos. http://datsun1200.com/modules/nsections ... e&artid=
