Bruce Kirk's ex racer, it was essentially a complete race car minus the rear end, seats and belts when I bought it hence I took it to my good friend Tony Lynch of lynchbuilt (Race car fabricators). Bruce had cut channels to four link the rear but hadn't gone much further. Things I've done thus far in Red Vauxhall / Opel C20XE twin cam 'Redtop' motor running twin 45 Webbers Electronic ignition 5 speed sierra with short shift kit Complete Suspens coilovers all round Willwood Brakes up front and new discs and calipers at rear, hydraulic handbrake Ford Escort Diff with Quaife LSD head four linked with watts linkage Holden two piece drive shaft Full cage Rebuilt the channels and floor where previous owner had attacked Performance wheels alloys Yokohama Advan semi slicks There's plenty more but you get the picture. ALl suspension and floor rebuild complete, needs some paint inside. THings to do: Put gearbox and drive shaft back in Install battery in the boot Finish fuel cell box and connect fuel lines Mount computer in a proper bracket and sealed container check all the bits and bobs and hopefully fire her up for a test drive! Simply need to mount the seats in and tidy up the welds/paint and we're laughing. Can I just say that it sounds awesome! Think BDA escort screaming through the forests and that's kinda what it sounds like.
