eskynut
Has anyone used a single dcoe carb on a 1600 x/flow esky? I'm having trouble trying to get throttle cable to suit. I've now been told I need to use a MK1 cable. Can anyone enlighten me on what they've done? Cheers
eskynut
Got it sorted finally. Used a MK1 throttle cable. Cut the ball end off and shortened the outer shield , filed the ball off the throttle pedal and fitted a clamp type bolt through hole, attached cable to pedal, added chocolate connector to cable for extra insurance, made up throttle bracket off engine mount bolt, attached to carb, set throttle cable to get full throttle and made sure throttle returned fully. Goes a lot better than 32/36 downdraught. Don't use Lynx throttle linkage kit - absolutely no good. Better to get proper Weber linkage then no probs, just more expensive.
