I wont bore you with the many garages ive moved my wagon to and from. But ive recently brought my own house and in turn a sweet garage.

Ill put some pics up of the wagon in its current state.

The CA18DET and all the adj suspension has been in and running and removed for paint. Im currently panel beating and getting it ready for paint.

Still got the KH330 260C coupe. Brought a 69 521 Ute also which is my daily when its not giving me grief. Mrs has got a 78 Datsun Cherry with 14x6 Hoshinos and front lip spoiler. Got a new engine for that too whcih is getting bike carbs on it.

Enjoy

Here is what ive been up to this week.

Brought a 720 with Z16 and column change with disc brakes

Removed the 521 cab and the 720 cab and about to mount the 521 cab on the 720 chassis.

Should keep me busy this week but everything looks to be lining up nicely

After a wee while aligning the cab on the chassis. Ive got it mounted.

All the mounts were 10mm to the inside of the existing holes so i re drilled them and put some big washers on. Looking mint. NOw gotta mount the booster. clutch cylinder and radiator. then its wiring time

Ok . Soo end of year festivites have consumed my evenings and the hangovers have consumed my days. But got into it this arva and got a 620 booster m/c setup bolted in place on the 521 and got the 720 radiator mounted in the 521 and plumbed up.

Gotta sort out remainder of column shift rods and brakes lines plumbed up to 620 m/c and my good friend Brendan is sorting out my wiring this week.

Maybe a skid for Xmas?

Righto!

Big thanks to John!!!

He figured out the column shift.

A bit of mucking around and got it all bolted up!!

Also over the last few nights with alot of help from Brendan ive got the brakes bleed, all the vacuam lines sorted. Wiring all tidied up, Discovered that my 1200 speedo cable and accelerator cables have connected up the to the Z and 521 componetry. Cut the last of the inner guard out of the way to clear the suspension arms.

Havent got much more to sort out really

Bleed the clutch.

Mount the deck

Wire up the rear taillights again and take it for a road test!!

Pics after deck is mounted tomorrow!!!!

Took the 521 for its first drive with new chassis under it.

Awesome power for a 1600.

Still having trouble with column shift. Cant find reverse and the gear shifts are really tight.

Hopefully sort it out tomorrow.

Just a couple wires to connect for the tail lights and it should be cool

Brendan gonna tune it up tomorrow and all going well ill be driving it out to Rangiora for the hotrod show weekend!

Here are the pics.

Ill sort out some new steels and tires at some point.

Gonna paint the new steels army olive drab with a nice sized whitewall.
