davidian
sup. so got one big hurdle left to do and thats to weld up the sill its gone rusty just up the top of the lip which sits under the passenger door rubber (will get pics). 1 longish bit (about 10-15 cm) and one smaller bit about 6-8 cm. ive cut the rust out (nothing to lose there really) so i have to weld in 2 new pieces about 10-20mm high, a little bit of bog/sand in place then put the rubber back on the lip. i wanna know, is this a touchy/dodgy place to weld and shall i get someone real onto it or just go for broke? my only dillema is i dont wanna drive the car down to a panelbeater with the bits cut out, its also not a major size weld. at teh mo its ground down, sanded and fishoilene. cheer boes
