Guest aircooledimp Posted January 13, 2007 Share Posted January 13, 2007 I've tossed the engine idea around for ages and it came back to a VW. It addresses all the issues the imp had....get rid of the water cooled engine, sick of blown head gaskets etc. I'm also toying with fitting fuel injection, went to pick a part today to try an find an old bosch k jetronic. did eventually find one but it had been butchered. At this stage I'm reconstructing the air plenum housing on the VW as it fouls on the bulkhead and window ledge etc on the imp.
